Page Pulse (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a Chrome extension that helps users report technical issues on websites. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data is handled.

1. Information We Collect

Page Pulse only collects information necessary to identify and diagnose technical issues.

When you click “Notify Team”, the following information may be included in the report:

• Technical Error Information: JavaScript console errors and warnings, failed network requests (HTTP status 400+), and related request metadata (excluding headers, cookies, and request bodies).
• Contextual Information: The page URL where the issue occurred (query parameters are removed), timestamp of the issue, browser type and version, and operating system.
• Interaction Context: A brief summary of recent user interactions (e.g., “Clicked ‘Login’”). No form inputs or typed content are captured.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

Page Pulse is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect:

• Names or email addresses
• Passwords
• Form field contents
• Cookies
• Authentication tokens
• Payment information
• Screen recordings or screenshots
• Background browsing activity

The extension only monitors the active page and only prepares a report when an error occurs.

3. Data Transmission

Data is transmitted only when you explicitly click “Notify Team.” Page Pulse does not automatically send data in the background. When you choose to submit a report, the selected technical information is securely transmitted to our backend infrastructure.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Reports are stored securely in our database. Each report is accessible only through a unique report ID. We retain reports only for as long as necessary to diagnose and resolve issues. You may request deletion of a report at any time by contacting us.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Page Pulse:

• Supabase – Secure data storage
• Vercel – Hosting infrastructure

These providers process data solely for the purpose of delivering the service and do not use it for advertising or resale. We do not sell or rent user data to any third parties.

6. Security

All transmitted data is encrypted using HTTPS. We implement reasonable security measures to protect stored reports from unauthorized access.

7. Scope of Use

Page Pulse works across all websites you visit to detect technical errors as they happen. However, it only prepares a report for the specific page you are currently viewing when you choose to open the extension.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

Page Pulse is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the extension, including but not limited to data loss or business interruption.

9. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any submitted report, contact us with questions about stored data, or stop using the extension at any time.
